Taxation Mini-Workshops

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED & TARGET LEARNERS
SAIPA Trainees (preferably with one year's experience in an accounting practice).

CONTENT
Under the logbook area of Taxation, Rorisa Training offers these mini-workshops:


1. VAT Simplified. After completing this mini-workshop and the post-course assignment project you will have completed up to 10 of the core, required areas under Taxation.

2. SARS Registrations & De-Registrations. After completing this mini-workshop and the post-course assignment project you will have completed up to six of the core, required areas and four, optional electives under Taxation. Content covered includes:
  • VAT Registration & De-registration
  • IT Registration & De-registration: Individual or Partnership
  • IT Registration & De-registration: Trust
  • IT Registration & De-registration: Company or Close Corporation
  • IT Registration & De-registration: Public Benefit Organisation (or NPO)
  • E-filing Registrations & Mandates
  • Turnover Tax: Registration & De-registration
  • Provisional Tax: Registration, Conversion & Deregistration
  • Employees Taxation: Registration & Deregistration of PAYE, UIF & SDL
  • Tax Clearance Certificates

3. Payroll & Employees Tax. After completing this mini-workshop and the post-course assignment project you will have completed  up to nine of the core, required areas under Taxation. Content covered includes:

5. Income Tax Calculations & Provisional Tax. After completing this mini-workshop and the post-course assignment project you will have completed  up to seven core, required areas and two, optional electives under Taxation. 

6. Capital Gains, Donations & Dividend Tax. After completing this mini-workshop and the post-course assignment project you will have completed  up to nine core, required areas under Taxation. 

FORMAT
Mini-workshops will take place on Saturday mornings for a duration of 4.5 hours. Please visit our 2013 Training Dates page for set dates.
