Ian Blignaut

Ian is an experienced financial and data analysis consultant with a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of the Witwatersrand. A creative, self-motivated entrepreneur he has partnered in a successful IT distribution business and recently sold his shares to become a full-time consultant. Ian has over 20 years experience in the areas of financial & strategic management, business analysis and system implementation. At present he is employed with a major South African banking institution as a business analyst and acts as a consultant for Rorisa Training in the areas of training and IT.

Through his consultation work, Ian continues to specialize in taking the financial management of his clients' businesses beyond the ordinary. He takes financial information, and using his exceptional skills with relevent software, presents it to clients in an easily understood, visual format which gives a clear indication of current and future trends for the business.

Ian's other areas of expertise and specialization include:
  • Proficiency in Oracle, Pastel, Quickbooks, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint & Outlook),
