Bookkeeping to Trial Balance Program

Picture
Overview
Competent bookkeepers and accounting staff are vital to every business. Rorisa Training’s Bookkeeping to Trial Balance is a ‘hands-on’ program using practical case studies, simulations and activities. Delegates will learn, practice and master the complete bookkeeping to trial balance process. They will also learn the significance of financial statements.

Delegates will be able to immediately apply the new skills and techniques they acquire in the workplace.

Delegates & Accreditation
Both junior and more experienced financial and administration staff will benefit from this program. However, no previous bookkeeping experience is required. This course is ideal for those who:
(a) want to maintain a set of books to trial balance and comply with all basic tax and other statutory requirements, and/or
(b) master the basics of accounting as a prerequisite to launching a career as a professional bookkeeper or accountant.

This short skills program is fully accredited by the FASSET SETA. Learners will receive a total of 45 NQF credits - 28 at Level 5 and 17 at Level 4.

Duration & Assessment
The program involves:
a) 45 - 60 contact/tuition hours,
b) a 4 hour final assessment (examination),
c) self-study & practical assignments, and
d) workplace related projects (optional).

Ideally the program is run over two to three months in weekly three to six-hour contact sessions. However, this can be adjusted to suit specific client needs.

Delegates are awarded an official SAQA Certificate of Competence by the FASSET SETA upon successful completion of the final assessment (examination) and being declared competent in all six unit standards. Clients also have the option of omitting parts of the program. Then their learners will be assessed and certificated on only some of the unit standards.
