Accounting Control Systems Course

Delegates & Accreditation
Rorisa Training’s Accounting Control Systems course is aimed at financial managers and staff who need to create and/or implement and monitor financial procedures and controls. 

This FASSET accredited course will be facilitated in-house for clients. Refer to the bullets below for the links to the SAQA Unit Standards. The four unit standards carry a total of 32 credits at NQF Level 5 and 8 credits at NQDF Level 6. 
  • SAQA ID No. 13018 - Contribute to the implementation of auditing procedures - Level 5 - 12 Credits
  • SAQA ID No. 13014 - Manage accounting systems - Level 5 - 10 Credits
  • SAQA ID No. 12935 - Recognize, measure, classify and record financial and non-financial data - Level 6 - 8 Credits
  • SAQA ID No. 13016 - Operate a cash management and credit control system - Level 5 - 10 Credits

Duration & Assessment
The program involves:
a) 45 - 80 contact/tuition hours,
b) practical assignments & self-study,  
c) formative assessments including a post-course assignment,  
d) workplace related projects (optional), and
e) post-course completion of a Portfolio of Evidence (PoE).

The number of facilitation hours will depend on delegate training needs, existing accounting experience and competencies. This will be discussed with potential clients in detail in order to design a suitable training schedule.

Delegates are awarded a FASSET approved Rorisa Training Certificate of Attendance upon successful completion of a post-course individual assignment. In the case where the delegate also completes the PoE, s/he will be awarded a FASSET Certificate of 
Competence.
